Marie Claire Cremona, Claire Borg, Marianne Camilleri, Matthew Keith, Michael Agius - We were a group of 5, including a 3D design student, so this really helped since I had no idea of furniture design. After a lot of brainstorming and research, even on human anatomy and needs, we came up with 'Dstretch'.I took part in the idea generation and was in charge of layouts, illustrations, advert ideas, and the user manual.Renders, 3D visualizations and furniture development by Marianne Camilleri http://www.behance.net/vr3Designs
"Stretching is a fundamental way to improve your overall health, fitness and well-being. Many people spend a long amount of time sitting in the same position without moving, causing bad circulation. Why not have a furniture that can help you do the basic stretches that you should be doing everyday? With Dstretch you can achieve this easily! The bended wood is used for the shape of the furniture as this gives a warm feeling to furniture used inside offices and homes. The polyester cotton blend is used for covering the foam which makes it very easy to clean and for its strength, durability and wrinkle-resistance. To connect the curved bended wood to straight wood mortise and tenon joints will be used as they are neat and very strong, cannot wobble and are very difficult to pull out. ‘Dstretch’ comes in a wide range of colours to match any environment you wish to place it in." - <img style="margin-top:-640px;" src="http://behance.vo.llnwd.net/profiles2/94020/projects/1711581/82fa4b1c69ffa7dab31134916da0e4d4.png" />

Masters of the Cutaway Part 6: Christopher & Matt Cushman - Core77
via core77.com
Chris Cushman got me a contract design job at Johnson Controls back in 1989. I remember him telling me about his poster work back then and I found it fascinating.
